A Snapshot of Your Day
A day in the life of a Material Handler at Siemens Energy is dynamic and fulfilling. You will engage in a variety of assignments that ensure the seamless operation of our production processes. Your day will involve moving and stacking skids, containers, and pallets, as well as loading, unloading, and transferring materials and products. Working both independently and collaboratively, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining a flawless and organized factory floor!
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Provide outstanding material handling support to the production team, ensuring that all materials are available when needed.
- Move completed products to different parts of the factory, supporting various functions and ensuring a seamless workflow.
- Safely and efficiently transport final assembled units to the shipping area, readying them for delivery to our customers.
- Maintain an organized and safe factory floor by strictly adhering to safety protocols and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with team members to successfully implement continuous improvement initiatives, improving our world-class production processes.
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or GED, demonstrating your foundational educational background.
- Proven experience of 1+ years in material handling within a factory environment, showcasing your ability to compete in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to work the second shift, reflecting your dedication and adaptability.
- Robust organizational skills, allowing you to prioritize efficiently and with outstanding attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, encouraging a collaborative and inclusive work environment where diverse ideas and perspectives are valued.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to determine the best course of action independently, ensuring tasks are completed flawlessly.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
