For our Maritime and Offshore Center in Trondheim, we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer!

Snapshot of your day
The role is responsible for quality and productivity improvements related to automated assembly and testing of products in our plant in Trondheim. One of the main products, battery modules for maritime and offshore applications, are produced in a state-of the art automated production system. You will also be responsible for the automation and software infrastructure, including network and cyber security, related to manufacturing processes in other parts of the plant, such as test stations for quality control of sub-assemblies and software for end-of-line product testing.

Other duties and responsibilities

  • Making sure that the current processes are fit to meet the standard of quality and productivity.
  • Enabling technologies and solutions are developed and implemented to further enhance efficiency and future innovation and competitiveness.
  • Processing non-conformance issues, including Root Cause Analysis, together with colleagues and potentially customers and suppliers.
  • Coordination with the Manufacturing management group, product owners, and other key resources within the organization.
  • Monthly reporting on defined performance indicators.

 

To succeed in this job, we believe it is an advantage if you

  • Bachelor’s degree relevant for automated and robotized production.
  • Experience as Manufacturing/Production Engineer or similar.
  • Have experience within mass production and quality systems.
  • Software and programming knowledge and experience related to automated production technologies and systems.
  • Have experience with data collection and analysis / data mining.
  • Can work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Are fluent in Norwegian and in English, written and spoken.

Being a Manufacturing Engineer is also much about people and communication skills. Thus, we will also focus on soft skills as important qualities when we evaluate candidates.
