A Snapshot of your Day

As Hybrid Control Specialist in your daily basis, you will be participating mainly in the development of hybrid control solutions for the different types of generation plants, you will mainly have interaction with the Sales and Offers team, likewise, working on implement the solutions that you have developed for what will be Your participation at the site to commission the control solution.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Technical project execution for hybrid projects, including technical clarification conduct site assessments to identify technical and economic potentials for process control improvements.
  • Development of control and optimization concepts, basic and detail engineering in SPPA-T3000 function diagrams.
  • Realization of SW engineering as control algorithms as well red line analyses for third parties control systems.
  • Commissioning and test design on customer’s power plant facility systems of the control strategies and algorithms/strategies to be delivered.
  • Communication and collaboration with customer’s personnel as operative staff, I&C specialists, management level for executive summaries and made valuable contributions presentations about control strategies.
  • Planning of work packages, estimate efforts and calculate costs (not as full responsibility, but in coordination with project management).
  • Review of work results (internal/ external) and determine corrective measures if vital.
  • Responsibility to comply and / or enforce the protocols, policies, guidelines, and proficiencies of the current integral management system (EHS, Quality)

What you bring

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in Control & Automation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical and electronics Engineering.
  • Experienced professional 5+ years on power plants and power generation systems is preferable; with experience on the field of power generation and/or system multifaceted, process modelling and controls design.
  • Experience with power generation projects. Is highly appreciated knowledge on grid services for power generation, efficiency improvement analysis, operational flexibility, emission reduction, alongside other performance indicators.
  • SCADA
  • Data analysis skills are highly appreciated.
  • Process Dynamic analysis and modelling.
  • Thermodynamic, electrical, and mechanical processes modeling for controls design and commissioning.
  • Overall I&C Knowledge.
  • Closed Loop Control.
  • Unit control/Master Controls for power blocks and generation units.
  • Plant investigation for assessing improvement and optimization potential in terms of control behavior.
  • Controls conceptualization, schematic design, and translation into detail engineering under control system languages.
  • Basic Project Management skills, structured, analytical thinking, and ability to work target oriented in an autonomous and systematic way.
  • English at professional working proficiency level.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of time.
  • Soft Skills: effective communication, service culture, responsibility and teamwork.
