A Snapshot of Your Day

As Head of Accounting, you will be responsible to ensure integrity and high quality of books and records to meet best-practice financial reporting that caters both internal and external requirements as well as adherence to Compliance in all accounting practices and processes.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Oversee all aspects of the accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and audit requirements.

• Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets.

• Analyse financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making.

• Manage the preparation of financial statements and reports.

• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Coordinate with external auditors and manage annual audit processes.

• Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes.

• Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring the financial stability of the company.

• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.

• Supporting carve out activities, including the separation of financial records, systems and processes to ensure a smooth transition and integration into the new organisational structure.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.

• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Proven ability to develop and lead a team.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Professional Level English or german language

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP preferred) and MS Office Suite.

About the Team

The Accounting team will be leaded and structured by this position. The business is related to distribution transformers generating excellent profitability projections in the short term.
