About the Role
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Leadership & Responsibility: Functional and disciplinary leadership of a diverse team (approx. 110 employees in Berlin, Erlangen and Bucharest) with a focus on on-time delivery, quality and project success.
- Strategy & Business Development: Development and implementation of the Order Management strategy to ensure growth, portfolio adaptations and profitability, considering country-specific conditions.
- Project & Technical Execution: Responsibility for the technical execution and management of international projects in GIS, AIS, AR and Service, including Installation & Commissioning (I&C) if required.
- Coordination & Collaboration: Close coordination with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., customers, production, quality, sales, procurement, engineering, R&D, finance and service) as well as between global factories.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Managing risks, opportunities, Non-Conformance Costs (NCC), claims and change orders while actively supporting safety and compliance programs.
- Communication & Presentation: Effective stakeholder management, clear written and verbal communication and delivering presentations for customers and experts.
What You Bring
- University Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar professional education combined with extensive, relevant experience
- Extensive professional experience within Sales and Project Management
- Understanding of customer business drivers and process requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English; German and other language skills are an advantage
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and influence other teams to collaborate, problem-solving abilities, self-motivation and result orientation
- Cultural awareness and experience in working with individuals from different cultures and backgrounds connected with a willingness to travel (30%)
