A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Data Center Vertical Client Manager you play a crucial role in fostering growth for Siemens Energy. In the fast-paced world of a Data Center Vertical Client manager you are presented with a unique set of challenges and opportunities and your days are filled with continuous relationship-building, strategic planning, and problem-solving. You start the day by reviewing the latest updates on your key accounts, analyzing sales data and customer feedback to gain valuable insights. Armed with this knowledge, you head into a crucial meeting with one of your largest clients

During the meeting, you actively listen to the client's goals and concerns, seeking ways to address their needs and provide tailored solutions. Your deep understanding of the client's business helps you propose strategies that align with their objectives.

Back at the office, you lead an internal strategy session with the sales and marketing teams. Jointly you brainstorm innovative ideas to enhance customer satisfaction and identify growth opportunities. Your expertise and insights guide the teams in aligning their efforts with the clients' expectations.

Lunchtime presents a chance for you to network with peers at a professional association event. You exchange experiences and best practices, enriching your knowledge base and expanding your industry connections.

In the afternoon, you attend a meeting with another client who is facing challenges. You empathize with their concerns and collaborate with internal teams to devise a comprehensive action plan. Your problem-solving skills leave the client confident in your partnership.

As the workday nears its end, you dedicate time to analyze the performance metrics of your key accounts. You identify areas for improvement and potential upselling opportunities, strategizing for long-term growth, logging of with a sense fulfillment.


How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • The Data Center Client Manager is the single face of the GT organization to their data center clients. They will own the account relationship, globally, and be responsible for providing their customers world-class service and support for the GT Portfolio.
  • Call at all levels, including senior levels, of the Clients’ organization; engage early with potential partners looking to develop Energy Transition projects. Negotiate and manage contacts and build stakeholder relationships within multiple Client vertical’s such as planning, construction, engineering, Regional Units to successfully position Siemens Energy’s technologies and solutions.
  • Expand wallet share at accounts for complete GT portfolio, develop new offerings together with the client.
  • Continuously identify new sales opportunities and focus on providing consultative sale support by building value propositions for Siemens Energy GT products, services, and solutions
  • Support internal teams (technical sales, business) by offering account specific, market & competitive insights and help develop compelling value proposition.

 

What You Bring 

  • Minimum of 8 years work experience, 5+ years sales/marketing/customer experience with industrial and infrastructure application customers. 3+ Years of account management experience
  • Experience in High Voltage and Medium Voltage Products, Solution and Services
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and/ or Business field. Relevant work experience accepted as substitute.
  • Ability to build, grow and maintain strong executive relationships.
  • Excellent communicator (verbal and written), ability to lead this defined strategy internally with multiple product lines in support of proposal responses and contract negotiations.
  • Ability to travel 50% domestically and on occasion internationally.
