A Snapshot of Your Day
Siemens Energy is looking for a Client Sales Manager to call on accounts operating large rotating equipment. The Client Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers within their geographical territory. They will also identify and qualify new business opportunities and ensure client satisfaction with Siemens Energy products and services!
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Development and execution of an annual territory plan through effective pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and regular reporting on sales activities, opportunities, and results.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and Siemens Energy offerings to anticipate customer needs and proactively identify opportunities.
- Serve as single point of contact to customers; providing ongoing support, troubleshooting assistance, and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Lead technical and commercial negotiations on behalf of the Siemens Energy.
- Develop meaningful relationships with key stakeholders on site and throughout customer’s organization.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field. (Or combined equivalent of education and work/field experience.)
- 5+ years of experience in sales or engineering with knowledge of rotating equipment specifically: industrial gas turbine, steam turbines, centrifugal compressors and reciprocating compressors.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, establish trust, and develop long-lasting relationships with clients at all levels of their organization!
- Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently by managing your time, keeping detailed records and reporting the competitive landscape back to the organization.
- Ability to travel, up to 50% of the time within the territory (Domestic only).
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.

This job may be based in Nevada or California. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay. The salary range for this position with the incentive plan if based in Nevada or California could start between $120k – $260k.
Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
