About the Role
- Create and communicate RFX documents to vendors for capex and opex requirements at factory and warehouses.
- Lead the tender process through to evaluation, negotiation, contracting, purchase order and delivery.
- Negotiate plant and machinery maintenance contracts and leasing arrangements.
- Evaluate and monitor contract performance following contract placement to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes.
- Manage KPI’s to measure, control and benchmark procurement activities including savings, contract trackers, spend under category strategy.
- Align with internal stakeholders such as Engineering, Quality, Facilities and Operations to understand and implement process improvements.
- Assist in the identification of new suppliers and ensure due diligence is carried out for all new sources of supply.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Business / Supply Chain / Logistic.
- 3-year CAPEX/OPEX purchasing experience including supplier/ vendor relationship and stakeholder management experience.
- Good knowledge in sourcing and P2P process and flow.
- Strong negotiation skills and a track record of taking ownership and driving results.
- Good time management with the ability to multitask competing priorities.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and schedules, including needs of the organization.
- Mid-level people skill and communication skills.
- Fluent in both written and spoken Mandaring Chinese and English. Can speak Taiwanese.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills especially Excel.
