Start your day with a team huddle to align on project priorities. Dive into designing and developing technical solutions tailored to client requirements, ensuring high standards and compatibility. Coordinate cross-departmental efforts to ensure the success of electrical systems, including HV, MV, LV, AC/DC-Switchgear, and more. Evaluate EPC contracts, prepare technical specifications, and review contractors' engineering work. Your role is crucial in the design review process, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. By the end of the day, you’ll have made significant strides in a meaningful project that directly impacts our customers and supports Siemens Energy’s mission of decarbonizing the industrial sector.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Designing and developing technical solutions tailored to client requirements
• Coordinating cross-departmental efforts to ensure solution compatibility and success
• Part of a technical team for definition of plant layout, piping system, rotation equipment systems (compressors, turbines, drives),including HVAC in greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Proposal engineering: evaluation and commenting of customer specification, customers questionnaire, deviations, compilation of proposal documents, cost calculations
• Evaluation of EPC contract (customer specification, etc.)
• Responsible to verify in detail BoQ and technical requirements from tender documentation
• Ensure Subcontractor responses are complete & tabulated accurately on a Bid Evaluation spreadsheet
• Proactively work with the technical preparation group to ensure commercial bid evaluations are completed in a timely manner
• Responsibility for the design review process (detail designs developed by partner companies)
• Preparation of technical specifications and inquiry documentation

What You Bring 

• University degree, Master Academic Studies program, preferable in the field of Thermotehnics, Process Engineering, Thermal Power Engineering. 10 years mechanical design experience preferred.
• Member of Serbian chamber of engineers with licence type 330, 430 preferred.
• Practical knowledge of software’s like Autodesk AutoCAD or Autodesk Plant 3D
• Experience in Oil&Gas, Petrochemical, Power generation
• Intercultural sensitivity, in order to work for/in international team
• Self-motivation with high energy drive and business sense
• Capability of multitasking, with excellent organizational skills while assuring a high-quality work process
• You can effectively write and communicate in English
• You would like to develop yourself and others to achieve the goals set by the company
