A Snapshot of Your Day

Join our dynamic team as a Supplier Quality Engineer, where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our purchased parts meets Siemens Energy’s high standards. Imagine yourself collaborating with suppliers, managing quality issues, and driving continuous improvement to enhance supplier performance. You’ll engage in daily communication with suppliers, lead quality audits, and support the transfer of products to our Budapest site. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining and improving the quality of our supply base, ensuring that our components meet both technical specifications and commercial expectations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will handle supplier-related quality issues, addressing complaints and ensuring resolution.
  • Lead the improvement of supplier quality performance through audits and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage digitalization projects to enhance supplier quality processes.
  • Qualify and re-qualify new products and suppliers, ensuring readiness for production.
  • Support the transfer of products to the Budapest site, ensuring seamless integration.

What You Bring

  • 3-5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Development or a similar quality role.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP Q module and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of product and raw material quality standards.
  • Experience in process development and supplier negotiations.
  • Advanced English and Hungarian proficiency for daily communication with international suppliers. German is a plus.
