- Lead the development of advanced control architecture and algorithms for multilevel converters and DC-DC converters to improve performance, efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Conduct rigorous modeling and simulation activities to validate control strategies under different operating conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems into overall product design.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in power electronics technology; propose innovative solutions that can give our products a competitive edge.
- Guide junior engineers and technicians; provide expert advice on technical challenges related to power conversion systems.
- Publish research findings in top-tier journals/conferences; represent the company at industry events.
- PhD or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with a specialization in Power Electronics/Control Systems.
- Several years of professional experience designing control systems for multilevel inverters/converter technologies.
- Consistent track record of successful projects involving high-power electronics applications.
- Deep understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) techniques applied to power electronic converter controls.
- Proficiency with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) for system analysis and design validation.
- Excellent analytical skills combined with a creative approach to problem-solving. - Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to mentor less experienced team members.
- Fluent in English; German language skills at C1 level are appreciated.
