Your profile
- Experience in COMOS data model customization (preferentially in adapting iDB data model) including definition / creation of structures, objects, attributes, creation of document templates on basis of user (business) requirements. Experience in interface integration e.g. Teamcenter, PDMS, HYSYS or PCS7 would be good.
- Curious of products and technologies, keen on learning on the fly
- Proven analytical and communication skills when processing or delivering written and verbal information
- Behaviour reflecting a team-oriented, results-focused and fact-based mindset
- Capable of maintaining work efficiency and self-control under peak load
- Proficient use of English at work, both written and verbal
- Valued fields of experience & skills:
- COMOS Level II Administrator at a minimum (includes Administration of Base Objects and Administration of Report templates)
- Deep knowledge in COMOS process engineering, COMOS I&C engineering, COMOS logical engineering, COMOS electrical engineering including cabinet layout
- Knowledge of COMOS Enterprise server functionalities
- Knowledge of COMOS – PCS7 Automation interface (e.g. Plant Automation Accelerator PAA)
- COMOS Walkinside
- Scripting VB, XML would be appreciated
- Use of software: Teamcenter, NX, COMOS, Jira, MS Office 365
Your responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the SE GP I PR COMOS environment in regards of data automation or new functionalities / interfaces to increase business efficiency and reduce business project costs.
- Handling / creation of selection lists, attributes, tabs, objects, elements and structures
- Create / maintain report and document templates
- Setup and maintain queries
- Define context menu structures according business processes
- Explore / implement COMOS addon’s and interfaces to 3rd party software
- Data automation COMOS internal and external e.g. via COMOS Enterprise Server
- Extend / maintain SE GP I PR COMOS project configuration functionality
- Develop and maintain COMOS-PCS7 / 3rd party automation interface
- Explore data collaboration models (internal / external)
- Analyze problems / issues and work discretely on resolutions.
- COMOS object debugger
- COMOS System and Database Version update management
- Perform and test updates and upgrades with SE IT and SE GP I PR business
Type of business contacts
- Support the business with integrating specific requirements or functionalities in the COMOS environment.
- Keep business (Advanced Key Users) informed about newest features and technologies includes training of AKU’s
- Support AKU’s setting up new functionalities (Change requests)
- User management including maintaining COMOS security and role management
- Provide documentation / training material (videos clips) to the business
- Be in close contact with the software vendor to:
- Discuss and solve software bugs and issues
- Implement new features and functionalities
