A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a mechanical engineer and part of our department, you will be responsible for mechanical simulations as well as the development and constructive design of various components of our electrolyzer stacks. As part of an interdisciplinary project team you will be one of the contact persons for the project managers, manufacturing colleagues, quality colleagues, purchasing colleagues and product life cycle management. Due to the focus on new products, you will conceptualize, simulate, develop and design new components and stacks, write specifications and work closely together with potential suppliers. You will incorporate your experiences into future product developments and will therefore also be directly involved in the development of new products. The daily maintenance and documentation of your developed and generated product data in our Teamcenter system complete your daily work.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Authoring and release of mechanical designs and drawings for products and projects regarding on- and offshore PEM-electrolysis solutions
  • Conceptualizing, calculating, developing and designing components for our electrolyzer stacks
  • As part of the mechanical design team you develop according to our product development process from scratch to product
  • Specifying and describing your designed components
  • As interface and technical counterpart you'll consult our manufacturing and quality colleagues
  • Managing and release of product related data
  • Support and sparring partner for design to cost activities
  • Product care and transfer to future product generations
What You Bring
  • Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering or comparable disciplines
  • At least 3 years of professional experience
  • In-depth knowledge and skills in working with NX (3D CAD designs, 2D CAD drawings and renderings)
  • Profound knowledge and skills in FEA (Ansys and/or Simcenter)
  • Strong knowledge and skills in handling BOMs in Teamcenter
  • Experience with conventional and agile product development processes
  • Experience in writing, creating and reviewing technical specifications for suppliers, documentation and quality related documents
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Willingness to work in interdisciplinary teams to jointly develop innovative solutions
  • Very good knowledge of the German and English languages, both written and spoken
