A Snapshot of your Day
As a HVDC C&P Integration and test lead, you will be the driving force of the complete software development process during the project execution phase. This means, you are actively leading on a day-to-day basis, a team of software engineers to develop and integrate the state-of-the-art Control and Protection systems for HVDC systems. During this process, you as a lead will make sure the customer requirements are fulfilled as well as device an efficient strategy to test our systems to the satisfaction of our customers.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead C&P software development process from project start up to the final customer acceptance tests ensuring compliance with all relevant system requirements
- Set up and drive consistent requirements engineering throughout the project execution
- Guide a team of software engineers through the software development and integration phase
- Define acceptance tests in close collaboration with our customers and internal partners
- Coordinate execution of offsite and on-site acceptance tests, build test reports and track open points
- Track development and test progress and report to project management on a regular basis
- Promote a model-based engineering approach and support an efficient use of X-in-the-loop environments to achieve project goals in terms of time and quality
- Work closely with project management and project leads to create unique value for our customers
- Support tender teams in bid projects by planning and calculation of integration and testing tasks
What You Bring
- University degree in Engineering (e.g. Electrical or Automation Engineering) or any relevant technical field
- Several years hands on experience in C&P systems for large industrial converter applications (engineering / commissioning in HVDC or similar electrical converter systems)
- Flexibility to work on-site for some weeks during customer acceptance tests
- Experience in leading small engineering or commissioning teams is a plus
- Full professional proficiency in English
- You are actively driving topics and resolving issues by means of partner management
- You approach complex tasks with analytical skills and a structured way of thinking
- You are comfortable in direct communication with customers and internal partners

Our Integration and Test Team is a dedicated group of experienced engineers at the heart of C&P software development in our HVDC project business.
