A Snapshot of Your Day

You analyze, create and implement sophisticated public cloud-based solution designs according to customer requirements in close alignment with the system integrator, considering current security guidelines. You will be responsible for Service Management including integration with backend systems, ServiceNow, and other interfaces. You will also be responsible for service cost, to deliver the best cloud infrastructure at most efficient cost.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Decide on suitable strategies and technology framework in cloud computing and automation.
• Provide architectural leadership and standard processes.
• You work very closely with the specialist teams and central IT units to integrate the specific solutions into the corporate context.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, internal IT departments and system integrator providing updates on customer progress and ensuring execution by partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define the internal infrastructure road map for hosted systems.
• Implementation and development of vital ITIL processes e.g. Incident Management to manage the services.
• Be end-to-end responsible for projects and services.
• Ensure critical applications are designed and optimized for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert to the organization for cloud end-to-end architecture incl. edge computing, networking, provisioning and management.
• Get maximum business value by managing cloud infrastructure costs, optimizing spend delivering the best infrastructure at reasonable cost.
• Responsible for development and continuous improvement of service requests, incident management, customer satisfaction (CSAT) and collaborating with service providers.

What You Bring

• VMWare knowledge and license know how.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or closely related subject.
• 5 or more years experience in running data center services, designing and operating hybrid cloud environments, and secure on-premise infrastructure for managed filespace, servers and platforms.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cloud architecture and implementation features (VPCs, projects, firewalls, orchestration, elastic scalability, inter-cloud connectivity, security, HA/ DR, etc.).
• Knowledge and experience with server hardware, storage, data networks, and data center hosting including facilities infrastructure (UPS, electricity, cooling, space, racks, etc.).
• You have expertise in metrics and analytics & can run/ manage resources effectively.
• You have high affinity to modern IT infrastructure and knowledge of the crucial, current technological trends in IT.
• Good interpersonal skills, communication, and presentation skills. Presentation skills and discuss complex technical information in concise and understandable fashion to the leadership team.
• Proven architecture and service management skills according to ITIL practices.
• Technical certification e.g. GCP Professional Cloud Architect or AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Fundamentals.
• Proven project management and delivery experience across multiple countries, locations.
• 20% travel including international should be expected.
• Language skills, English is required.
