How You’ll Make an Impact

Job Responsibilities:
The following are the major job duties, but this job description does not preclude the performance of other duties by the incumbent. Unless otherwise stated, each employee is responsible for their own work as well as the responsibility of safety for themselves and their co-workers.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Setup and operate machines in assigned area (EDMs (hole popper and EDM sinkers), Lasers, Grinder, Milling Machines)
- Work to production routers which includes following sequencing and inspection requirements
- Assist Engineering in improvements that reduce hour, scrap, and rework.
- Perform all calibrations and alignments on all equipment pertaining to the EDMs, Lasers and Grinders and associated equipment.
- Perform setups as required to perform production jobs.
- Assist with programming edits as required with the understanding of specialized machine codes that are specific to EDMs, Lasers and Grinders.
- Perform adjustments to account for variabilities on repaired parts.
- Identify and load proper tooling and fixtures to machines for job operations.
- Assist in creating new and maintaining existing fixtures.
- Ensure that equipment is functioning properly including daily checks as well as scheduled preventative maintenance and calibration as required.
- Review job planning packages with technical support personnel to discuss methods, procedures and equipment and ensure job documentation is complete and critical data is recorded on appropriate forms.
- Communicate clearly with personnel in the area about issues, statuses both verbally and in writing to minimize confusion and/or loss of time
- Notify supervision/maintenance of irregularities or equipment malfunctions
- Have Good Housekeeping practices of the equipment, tooling, templates, etc...

What You Bring
- Meet Skill Level 3 requirements
- A.A.S. Degree in Machining Technology, or its equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in repair area is required
- Must demonstrate the ability to successfully edit/adjust CNC machine control programs.
