How You’ll Make an Impact
• Conduct supplier qualification by performing supplier capability analysis and risk assessment.
• Manage the qualification of suppliers for New Engine and Services components, with a specific focus on large steel fabrication and heavy machining.
• Implement and coordinate supplier quality improvement measures to ensure world-class performance.
• Plan and complete Supplier Quality Assurance measures throughout the supplier lifecycle to ensure supply chain resiliency.
• Support root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive measures for supplier quality issues.
• Apply risk management methodologies to proactively prevent quality issues within the supply base.
• Contribute to product development by ensuring the manufacturability and source-ability of new or revised components, providing technical evaluations of design changes.
• Highlight opportunities for innovation and improvement, both at the supplier level using standard methodologies and technical developments, and internally through process optimization and digitalization.
• Actively support procurement and business initiatives, including localization, local-for-global sourcing strategy development, and sustainability efforts.
What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering-related major.
• Proven experience as a design engineer, quality engineer, or manufacturing engineer, with practical manufacturing experience in welding and machining preferred.
• Working experience in technical functions within the Energy, Oil & Gas, or related industry is preferred.
• Strong initiative, results orientation, and analytical thinking.
• Experience working in a global environment.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis and other quality and risk management methodologies.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30%.
• Project management experience is a plus.
