A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Liaison Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will coordinate with our repair center in Tribogna and customers to ensure effective communication and execution of repair jobs. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Serve as the primary point of contact between customers, internal partners and the repair center, ensuring all communications are clear and concise.
- Manage designated Shop Order jobs from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed successfully and within quality guidelines.
- Evaluate Requests for Quotation (RFQ) scopes and prepare job quotations. Conduct detailed contract reviews, including Terms & Conditions, adhering strictly to company policy.
- Conduct contract reviews, ensuring compliance with company policies and terms and conditions.
- Update Work In Progress (WIP) reports and supervise ongoing cost actuals versus estimates.
- Collaborate with Technical Specialists and the Quality Assurance manager to ensure jobs meet quality standards. Prepare detailed shop instructions for inspection and repair scopes, referencing all appropriate technical specifications and procedures.
- Review invoices for accuracy before issuance and ensure overhaul reports are completed and sent to clients promptly.
What You Bring
- Demonstrated ability in a repair service role, with familiarity in turbo-machinery reciprocating and rotating equipment repairs.
- Proven time management capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer interfacing skills and the ability to evaluate customer specifications and develop specific repair work scopes.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing projects and tasks.
- Proficiency in Italian end English is required.
- An educational background in the mechanical field is highly appreciate.
- Ability to travel locally to visit suppliers as needed.
