You’ll manage global transport orders (ordering of global transports, creation of transport documents, track& trace), coordinate with international logistics service providers and partners, and ensure smooth deliveries, all while working with a fantastic and supportive team. How You will Make an Impact
- Preparation of complete set of documents for transport ordering and customs declaration observing specifics for dangerous goods transport where necessary
- Clarification of documents with all involved internal and external business partners
- Ordering of Transports based on defined dates, preferred carriers and transportation contracts
- Arrange for goods pickup at supplier with all transport modes
- Perform order to invoice verification for 3PL services
- Preparation of documents (Intrastat) for statistics administration
- Coordination of dispatch activities based on defined logistics concepts
- Information to all relevant parties on transport details and current status
- Supporting process optimization
- Holding carrier liable and clarifying discrepancies (damages, delays etc.)
What You Bring
- Bachelor in a business field (supply chain, logistics or similar) or education with relevant work experience alternatively and e.g forwarding agent/Manager
- 2 - 4 years of experience in Transportation Management covering all modes (air, sea, ground, processing, transport ordering and monitoring, project logistics)
- Experience in managing Logistics Services is already gained by ensuring accurate, on time and economical delivery services to suit customer needs and/or meet internal project requirements
- Preferably basic knowledge in export processes and documents
- High analytical ability, customer & solution orientation as well as your social competence, assertiveness and a high organizational & team ability are further elements of your set of skills
- Above average communication skills to stay informed, to collaborate and to distribute all relevant information to internal & external business partners e.g. internal and external suppliers, project management, logistics service providers
- Excellent communication skills throughout all levels in the organization in English, spoken and written.
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Teams Word etc.), and basic knowledge in SAP
