A Snapshot of Your Day


As the Team lead Controls Engineering at Siemens Energy, you will lead a diverse team of engineering experts across fields such as electrical, software programming, controls and instrumentation, to complete projects within the Siemens Energy Compression.

Following this, you guide your international engineering team and partners through a design and scope for turbo-compressor projects, ensuring detailed cross-functional coordination to comply project requirements.

You also conduct individual meetings with team members to address scope, schedule, and cost considerations.


How You’ll Make an Impact



  • Lead, integrate, and mentor the Engineering team, comprising diverse engineering fields (e.g., electrical, software programming, controls & instrumentation, process, etc.).
  • Optimally handle engineering-related risks and opportunities and enforce to technical contract execution and documentation requirements.
  • Incorporates Siemens Energy design standards and guidelines and adapts the assigned scope to meet project-specific requirements, due to Customer Specifications and follows international standard requirements.
  • Responsible for control system scope of a rotating equipment project together with other project members and content provider, mainly System Engineering. Monitors and leads the engineering schedule and hours-budget for the assigned scope, including on-time release of deliverables.
  • Sets targets and monitors Engineering efficiency (hours and total cost), quality aspects (NCC, Lessons Learned), and status on key technical work (e.g. drawings, bills of materials, and purchasing specifications) for the portfolio of Customer Projects.
  • Create and review client specifications for PLC, design PLC hardware and software list of material, I/O-list, Cyber Security, network diagram, etc.


What You Bring



  • Proven experience in overall technical project execution with at least 5 years people management experience.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Automation and Controls, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering, or a related polytechnical field of study
  • Experience in Rotating Equipment (Compressors, Turbines) for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and other Process Industry applications, achieved through working on Industrial Applications Products in Controls and Instrumentation Engineering are preferred.
  • Customer focus: capability of changing perspectives and adapting strategies and actions to meet the needs of the multifaceted environment.
  • Ability to lead an international Engineering team with expertise in various engineering fields to achieve the highest performance results.
  • Good Analytical & Cross-cultural skills.
  • Proficiency in English Language.
