A Snapshot of Your Day


As a Payroll Coordinator within Service Operations, you'll ensure accurate and timely payment for all employees, managing related responsibilities! You'll collaborate with operational partners, serving as a key communication link for timekeeping issues. Coordinators facilitate updates on company policies or system changes affecting time tracking or payroll. Your review of timekeeping records ensures accuracy, addressing discrepancies promptly by collaborating closely with employees or supervisors.

This role involves preliminary hours of processing to detect and resolve errors before final payroll submission! You'll assist in HR system updates for new hires, terminations, and status changes. Coordinators liaise with the Payroll and Finance departments, providing detailed reports. Regular reporting to management includes overtime, missing hours, and posting errors. Training sessions for new employees on timekeeping system usage are also part of the role. Coordinators evaluate system performance, identifying areas for improvement. Adaptability to evolving organizational needs is key.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Collecting employee time data, verifying its accuracy, and processing payroll hours regularly, including calculations and inputting of hours worked, overtime, vacation, and other pay adjustments.
  • Verify the accuracy of employee data and calculations and make corrections if needed.
  • Respond to employee inquiries about payroll, including questions related to hours, attendance, and time worked.
  • Maintain accurate and complete hours records and ensure compliance with internal time worked regulations.
  • Prepare and distribute reports to management as needed.
  • Ensure timely submission of timecards by supervisors and employees.
  • Manage and maintain the company's time and attendance system, including validating employees and updating employee records as needed.
  • Train employees and supervisors on the use of the time and attendance system.
  • Generate reports and analyze data related to employee time and attendance.
  • Stay up to date on changes to attendance and time regulations and standard processes.

What You Bring

  • Strong verbal & written communication skills, analytical capabilities as well as assertiveness when dealing with complicated problems.
  • Conceptual thinker attitude, ability to define tangible concepts as well as strong personal dedication with a convincing, goal-oriented, and hard-working personality.
  • Ability to handle confidential information securely.
  • AA Degree or higher is required in fields related to business administration, finance, or human resources or related years of experience/additional certifications.
  • 3+ years of work experience in payroll capacity or closely related field, Human Resources, or finance.
  • You are a diligent listener who isn't afraid to voice your thoughts and have a positive outlook and approach to challenges with a resolution-focused approach.
  • Goal-focused and initiative-taking collaborator with good analytical skills, an accuracy focus, and the ability to prioritize activities and meet deadlines with the highest quality.
  • You are a collaborative teammate with strong people skills, who takes initiative, is dynamic, decisive, goal-oriented, and engaged with a hands-on approach.
  • Analytical skills to tackle sophisticated tasks and transparently present them to leadership.
