  • Serve as the technical lead for managing and delivering technical queries with Service Technology, customers, and field staff, including remote diagnosis of turbine faults.
  • Ensure compliance with customer and contractual obligations while completing work packages/tasks, adhering to site rules and regulations.
  • Mentor and develop technician competency for both customer and SGRE technicians.
  • Maintain efficient timescales for service activities and assist in creating daily and weekly plans for site teams in conjunction with the Shift Manager, Service Planner, and Service Coordinator.
  • Your contributions will be vital in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations, supporting our mission for sustainable energy.

What you bring

  • Experience working as a Technician, ideally within the wind industry.
  • Experience working with a large range of contractors and customers, with demonstrable management experience being advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, with familiarity in SAP, MORS, and remote diagnostic tools being a plus.
  • Flexibility to work shifts at the project location (exact shift patterns to be confirmed).
  • Ability to demonstrate competency levels as a Technician, Competent Technician, Maintenance Technician, and Troubleshoot Technician.
  • Willingness to be based on site at Grimsby, with a requirement to live within commuting distance or be willing to relocate.
  • Your passion for renewable energy and commitment to excellence will be key to your success in this role.
