A Snapshot of Your Day
As a member of the Siemens Energy Transformer (Jinan) Business Controlling team, you will be responsible for cash flow management, foreign currency management, related party transaction management, cost control, and ensuring compliance with Financial Reporting Guideline.
How You’ll Make an Impact
You will gain valuable experience and knowledge in these areas while working with several cross-functional teams and multiple levels of management to improve existing processes and approaches.
1. Cash Flow Management:
o Develop and implement cash flow forecasting models to accurately predict the company's short-term and long-term cash inflows and outflows, providing strong support for financial decision-making.
o Closely monitor the progress of collections, work closely with relevant departments to optimize the collection process, and improve collection efficiency.
o Be responsible for arranging payment plans, and work in coordination with the procurement department to ensure that funds are used efficiently while meeting the company's operational needs.
2. Foreign Currency Management:
o Manage the company's foreign currency funds, including the execution and monitoring of foreign currency forward transactions, ensuring the safety and appreciation of foreign currency funds.
o Be familiar with and apply hedging accounting principles to effectively hedge and manage the company's foreign currency risks, reducing the impact of exchange rate fluctuations on the company's financial condition.
o Regularly analyze foreign currency market trends, formulate and adjust foreign currency risk management strategies to ensure that the company's foreign currency risk management complies with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and relevant laws and regulations.
3. Related Party Transaction Management:
o Be responsible for the transactions between the company and related parties, establish a complete related party transaction ledger.
4. Cost Control:
o Be responsible for reviewing expense reimbursement applications from various departments, checking the compliance and reasonableness of expense expenditures.
What You Bring
1. Bachelor's degree or above, with a background in finance, accounting, economics, or related major.
2. 3+ years of successful experience Accounting and/or Finance with the ability to handle multiple topics.
3. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy; self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals and be proactive in problem solving; flexible and able to adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
4. Strong digitalization experience, familiarity with Alteryx/Tableau; financial software programming preferred.
5. Familiar with ERP systems, with SAP experience preferred.
6. Must be fluent in English.
