We are looking for a Quality and EHS Manager in Projects (QEHS MiP) to support our Project Managers and technical project teams in effective planning and control of projects in terms of EHS, quality assurance and quality control.

Your focus in this role is to ensure all quality related requirements are adequately reflected in the proposals and monitor their implementation and execution during the entire execution phase. As a QEHS MiP you take responsibility for Lessons Learned and Phase Completion Evaluation. QEHS MiP also participate in Non-Conformance handling, Risk management, Continuous improvement planning and actions implementation, claim management and Change management in the project.

You will also advise the PM and other members of the project team in matters regarding EHS and ensure compliance with applicable internal and external rules & regulations to prevent EHS related hazards and risks.

The QEHS MiP act as a member of the core bid-/project team and reports to Bid-/Project Manager.

In functional matters the QEHS MiP reports to the Head of QEHS and is a valued member of the QEHS team in the business.

Your profile:

  • You hold a B.Sc./M.Sc. in a Technical degree or have equivalent education
  • You are results and quality oriented with focus on the customer 
  • You have some experience with quality, health and safety topics
  • You are accurate and have a positive, robust, tolerant, and cooperative personality
  • You are a strong team player with good communication, problem solving, creativity and critical thinking skills with ability to work independently
  • You are fluent in written and verbal English and Norwegian.

It is an advantage if you also check some of these boxes:

  • Experience from engineering and project execution in the Offshore and/or Marine Business.
  • Experience as a quality, risk, interface or change manager

 Your responsibilities:

  • Quality, risk and compliance focus during sales and bid
  • Quality control and EHS assurance during project execution, ensuring that the project team complies with internal and external EHS and quality requirements regarding process and delivery.
  • Support to the rest of the project team with EHS & quality specific information and guidance (e.g., nonconformance investigation, Incident reports, Quality Gates, Lessons Learned, risk assessments etc.)
  • Responsibility for approving all project execution Decision Gates
  • Authority to intervene at any stage in the project, when detecting events that may have a negative impact on project execution, health or safety.
  • Internal audit and review responsibility, as well as and supplier audit responsibility as necessary
  • Some travel domestically and internationally is required upon request to support project and /or department.
