  • Carrying out and leading technical studies related to grid connection of our products, systems, and solutions
  • Brainstorming with experienced colleagues for developing new solutions for renewable grids and upcoming decarbonization
  • Actively involved in pre-acquisition and sales activities to grow our business
  • Enlightening the Siemens Energy customer about our products benefits in grid stability and developing the grid of the future
How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Responsibility for execution and project management of studies for analysis of electrical power systems, network planning and grid development
  • Supporting our business units in business development activities by presenting the capabilities of our products and solutions to existing and prospective clients
  • Coordinating and aligning engineers from different technical groups and virtual teams within a multi-cultural environment
  • Strengthening and growing contacts to our customers worldwide and managing customer relationships
  • Integration of power electronic devices, renewable generation, storage devices, etc. into AC grids (conceptual studies, feasibility studies, tender studies, project execution)
  • Coordination of external partners and sub suppliers
What You Bring
  • University degree in electrical power engineering (master degree) with relevant professional experience
  • Mid-term experience in steady state and dynamic network planning, network structure development, planning of C&P systems for electrical power systems and power electronics
  • Solid skills in the field of high voltage applications, power transmission systems, power electronics, renewable generation, power system planning and development
  • Solid knowledge of typical power system simulation programs (e.g. PSS/E, PowerFactory, PSCAD/EMTDC)
  • Good communication skills in business- fluent English and German
  • Initiative, creativity, analytic and strategic thinking, teamwork, customer orientation and intercultural teams characterize your preferred working environment

Fluctuating power flow and exponential increase of grid complexity and volatility demands new digitally driven solutions with capabilities far beyond the current monitoring, control and automation systems. 
At Digital Grid we are creating solutions for future needs of the grid. 
We provide power system engineering expertise, to help our Customers identify, classify and mitigate existing and future power system risks. 
We integrate Internet of Energy (IoE) in our digital solutions to enhance performance of the grid monitoring, control and automation systems.
We enable integration of renewables using next generation power electronic platforms and applications.
