Your profile

  • Completed studies in a technical or commercial discipline
  • Long-term working experience in complex project environments (e.g., in project management, sales)
  • Profound knowledge in bid approval and risk management processes (Siemens Energy internal / SAG: experience as LoA (Limits of Authority) coordinator)
  • Ability to work in a team and experience working with interdisciplinary teams across different organizational levels
  • Handle multiple assignments simultaneously and with high diligence
  • Energetic, creative, and proactive personality 
  • Solid English language skills are a must
  • Good Salesforce knowledge 
  • Experience in dealing with stakeholders, including senior management
  • High level of commercial skills / understanding of relevant data 
  • Good analytical skills and appropriate tools to visualize data such as Excel, ThinkCell, Tableau
Your responsibilities

As the LoA (Limits of Authority) process is used to identify project risks, determine mitigation measures and obtain approval from the appropriate management level, the area of responsibility is as follows:
  • Secure timely LoA announcement and documents submission
  • Administration, organization (Business Unit LoA agenda & invitation) and conduct regular Business Unit LoA meetings as well as administration, organization (Division LoA agenda & invitation) and conduct regular Division LoA meetings in special cases 
  • Quality assurance of LoA documentation in accordance with LoA guidance
  • Ensure completeness and consistency of LoA documents as a basis for LoA meetings and related approvals, and initiate LoA approval process including documentation of approval conditions and/or comments in Salesforce
  • Assurance of timely approval documentation (online and/or offline) prior to bidding and proper storage/archiving of LoA documentation
  • Support the country coordinators of the sales departments regarding LoA process related questions (e.g.  regulations, participants, roles, etc.) as well as regarding the LoA tool (Salesforce) in general
  • Salesforce user administration and authorization
  • Communication interface for all LoA related topics between Business Segments, Business Units and Functions
  • Development and management of LoA documents and identification of process improvement potential/control needs
  • Publication of LoA-relevant news/info to the LoA community (e.g., via Sharepoint)

In our High Voltage Business Unit Function Business Development, we are combining the responsibilities for Business Intelligence, Innovation & Technical Marketing and Project Management Office, serving the Business Unit High Voltage Grids which its Business segments HVDC and Grid Access as well as the Division-led Business Segment Grid Stabilization. 
High Voltage Grids (HG) is offering High-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission solutions (onshore and offshore) enabling a reliable power supply of large load centers, power exchange between inter-connected systems and connection of near and far from shore wind generation to the grid, while Grid Stabilization (GS) ensures stable grids by compensating voltage and frequency fluctuations caused by higher share of renewable energy generation (FACTS solutions) and by controlling, protecting and isolation electrical equipment at grid connection points (S/s solutions) - in doing all of this, we are an important enabler of the decarbonization of our global energy system.
