Our Bid managers (m/f/d) keep teams on track, oversee the delivery of a Proposal for EPC/Extended Scope Power Plant projects and eventually negotiate with the customer to form/ sign a contract with completed business objectives including budget, quality, safety, performance, and schedule requirements. Our Bid Managers (m/f/d) will be responsible to develop design of Combined Cycle Power Plants and create quality Bids/ Proposals using world class Siemens Energy Industrial Gas Turbine for international customers.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Co-ordinate with a small team of engineers and experts located within the Vienna location and globally, to develop technical solutions for power plants using Siemens Energy medium sized gas turbines and prepare competitive Bids . Develop and Support R&D activities for new solutions (e.g. Data centers, CCUS, etc.)
• Create a comprehensive bid strategy, including a timeline, scope, and cost estimates tailored to customer requirements.
• Develop Bidding Road Maps and clarify customer specifications to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Conduct risk and opportunity analysis, and evaluate technical guarantees to enhance bid quality and competitiveness.
• Coordinate with various Siemens Energy entities to gather system design, component inputs, and cost information, while also compiling project costs.
• Engage with customers during meetings to present and negotiate the proposed technical solutions, ensuring optimal contract and technical conditions are achieved.
  
  

What You Bring

• You have managerial skills and able to Lead multi-disciplinary team across different locations.
• 8-10 years’ experience in Power Plant Execution in the field of Mechanical or Electrical or Instrumentation & Control or Civil Engineering.
• Experience in sales and Proposal works and good communication skills
• Excellent language- skills in English, knowledge of other foreign language (German, etc) will be beneficial. Willing to learn new language.
• Ability to travel in short notice.
• You are smart, energetic, and self-motivated and have good awareness of the energy industry and technically knowledgeable of the energy transformation

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.

Due to the Austrian legal regulations, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Please note that there is a clear willingness for a higher compensation considering your individual expectations, expertise and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of € 65.649,50 gross/year for a full-time position (38,5 h/week).
