As PMO Professional (Contract Manager) you will be supporting our Long Term Program Project Managers with various contract-related functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the creation of change orders and amendments, interpreting contract language, review of Customer communications, and working with the legal department for contract management support. Additionally, the role involves assisting with the Limit Of Authority process, and other related activities which may include supporting external customer meetings. Key
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Create and handle change orders to ensure contract modifications are accurately documented and implemented.
- Interpret and analyze contract language to provide clear guidance and support to LTP Project Managers.
- Collaborate with the legal department to address contract management issues and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Assist with the LOA process, including the preparation and review of vital documentation.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless contract management and support for LTP projects.
- Maintain accurate records of all contract-related activities and documentation.
- Provide training and support to LTP PMs on contract management best practices and procedures.
- Support in-person Customer meetings.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- 5 - 10 years of shown experience in Contract management, preferably within a long-term program or project management environment.
- Preferably experience with government owned companies; PEMEX and/or CFE.
- Strong understanding of contract language and legal terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface optimally with legal and project management teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
- Proficiency in English as a second language; verbal and written
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the specific industry or sector relevant to the company.
- Certification in contract management (e.g., Certified Professional Contract Manager - CPCM)
