A Snapshot of Your Day

As PMO Strategic Projects & Planning you provide the Global Service Operations (GSO) team with special projects support, starting with the Service Master Plan. You will report to the head of Business Operations within Global Service Operations (SE GS C GSO BOP)!

As a key contributor within the GSO team, you will help us to drive key business improvement measures and long-term business needs for the central services business. These activities guide the business for future success.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead key initiatives and improvement projects for the Global Service Operations team like Service Master Plan, New Unit/Service Business Integration and Strategic support for GSO initiatives
• Ensure project objectives are delivered on-time, on-budget and with tangible business impact
• Participate in the development of strategic project idea generation and required network optimization projects
• Ensure and drive collaboration with the regional service teams, project entity, distributed business and other key partners and collaborators
• Develops teams of cross-functional representatives ensuring a high-performance culture of business excellence and continuous improvement
• Engage with key collaborators and work within and across SE units

What You Bring

• Completed studies in engineering or equivalent
• Experience in a service business area, e.g. in energy, infrastructure or industries
• Longstanding years of proven record in leading projects and/or business development initiatives with multicultural and cross-regional working teams
• Flexibility to adjust and succeed in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects or assignments
• A solid understanding of existing purchasing, inventory, marketing, legal, risk management, order management and repair processes. Technical understanding of the related portfolio of Siemens Gas Services is a plus
• Fluent English language skills, Other languages, such as German is a plus and willingness to travel occasionally both nationally and internationally

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet
