Role: ECC, Service Delivery Manager

You will help us run one of the sophisticated Enterprise Command Center for Siemens Energy IT. You will be responsible for enabling developers to operate highly available, scalable, and cost-efficient applications with low operational burden by handling and improving the reliability and resiliency of SRE-managed services and infrastructure. You thrive on automation, visualization, reliability engineering, and getting rid of major incidents.


You Will

  • Ø  Explore new tools and monitoring to be implemented for proactive availability management.
  • Ø  Analyze major incident trends to identify the opportunities of reducing MTTD and avoid impacts through proactive measures.
  • Ø  Lead & Coach command center engineers to achieve more than they thought possible. You enjoy making other teams successful.
  • Ø  Ensure smooth Command Center Operations reducing availability impacts.
  • Ø  Report on Application/Infrastructure uptime and performance
  • Ø  Track SLIs & SLOs for onboarded services.
  • Ø  Manage transition, onboard new services to ECC and operationalize task as much as possible.
  • Ø  Responsible for enhancing dashboards and event management rules to reduce MTTB.
  • Ø  Ensure best practices for monitoring & alerting as followed.
  • Ø  Establishing & documenting production run books and guidelines for support engineers.
  • Ø  Tooling & automation to handle production environments.
  • Ø  Incident management, improving MTTR for services.
  • Ø  Manage Enterprise Command Center 24x7 operations.
  • Ø  Closely collaborate with Major Incident Management for reducing production environment disruptions. 



  • Ø  Bachelors/master’s in computer science, MCA, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ø  Total 10+ years of work experience out of which 3+ years of SRE experience in running large-scale observability platforms (Service Delivery Management)
  • Ø  Hands-on experience on observability-related systems covering application & infrastructure telemetry and logs, metric visualizations, and alerting management.
  • Ø  Clear understanding of observability Metrics, Log Analytics and Traces.
  • Ø  Well versed with ITSM processes with ITIL Certification.
  • Ø  Strong hands-on experience in monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor & Insights, Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana etc. to run observability for large-scale microservices deployments.
  • Ø  Clear understanding of Open Telemetry & API standards
  • Ø  Good understanding of any API Gateways. Kong would be an added advantage.
  • Ø  Expertise in ServiceNow Incident/Problem/ Change Management and Reporting Dashboards
  • Ø  Excellent problem-solving, triaging, and debugging skills in large-scale distributed systems.
  • Ø  Experience with People Management managing remote distributed teams.


  • Ø  ServiceNow Event Management Module is a big advantage.
  • Ø  AWS Solutions Architect or Azure certification
  • Ø  Knowledge of Azure AD/IAM is preferred.
