A Snapshot of Your Day 

As Lead IT Architect (f/m/d) for Customs Solutions at Siemens Energy, you will be involved in the evaluation and transformation of the current customs processes into the new SAP S4 landscape as well as corresponding customs applications. Your tasks will include the design of systems, processes and solutions for customs processes along the company ecosystem. 

In this dynamic role, you will be the contact person for the business units with regards to requirements and evaluate technical solutions. Furthermore, you will identify and evaluate technical options for improving existing as well as future IT solutions. In addition, you will coordinate external service providers and manage internal project processes such as planning, implementation and budgets.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Evaluate and Transformation of current Customs Processes to the new SAP S4 landscape and corresponding Customs Applications
  • System Process & Solution Design for Customs Processes along the company ecosystem
  • Counterpart for Business regarding requirements and evaluating technical solution
  • Identify and evaluate technical options for improving existing and upcoming IT solutions
  • Control and coordinate external service provider
  • Perform and coordinate internal project processes, e.g.: planning, execution, budgets

What You Bring
  • Deep knowledge in Customs Processes in SAP ERP environment (especially R3 vs S4 technology), including Customs Solutions (Preferred MIC solution)
  • Experience in Agile Methodology and Process and Solution Design (preferred SAP S4)
  • University Degree in Information Technology or a similar field of study; a different qualification with significant working experience is also possible
  • Proficient in managing a wide variety of suppliers within multinational enterprises
  • Strong organizational talent, emphasizing teamwork, clear communication, and structured work approach
  • Demonstrated independence and customer orientation in work attitude
  • Fluent in English with confident business communication skills (German is an asset but not required)
