Financial Analytics, including monthly forecasts and deviation reports

How You'll Make an Impact:
  • Create new and maintain existing project definitions in SAP
  • Create monthly forecasts and deviation reports. Assess adequacy of budgets and propose actions.
  • Create various cost extracts and maintain various internal database systems
  • Support global asset management efforts, including CapEx controlling
  • Special tasks and coordination of expenses. Some administrative tasks, as required.
  • Professional handling of strictly confidential and sensitive information

What you bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or computer science 
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases and financial software applications 
  • Knowledge of financial processes and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis 
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures 
  • Knowledge of project controlling highly desirable
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process 
  • 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience 
  • Fluency in English. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP, and PowerPoint 
  • Experience with IT-tools for analysis, wrangling, and presentation of large data sets is highly desirable, e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, SAP Hana, Snowflake, MS Azure, SQL, Python, R.
  • Excellent presentation, reporting and communication skills
  • Proven task and time management skills with developed ability to prioritize
  • Positive “can-do-attitude”
  • Documented experience with the safe and professional handling of sensitive, confidential information.

Within our Solution Organization we work on customized solutions for power plants, whether it is the most efficient conventional power generation, industrial application for process steam or heat generation, hybrid solutions including renewable energy and their integration or making big steps toward decarbonation with hydrogen producing plants or environmental friendly power generation on ships and barges.
