A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Project Manager you will drive ambitious projects, plan and implement initiatives, leads and mentor teams, manage risks and issues, monitor performance metrics. You will also oversee budgets, ensure quality and compliance, foster continuous improvement, maintain client and vendor relations, and apply advanced methodologies. Your role is crucial in transforming the energy sector.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Planning project schedule to meet deadlines.
- Participate and hold internal and external project meetings, reviews, briefs and kick off meetings.
- Supervising the Procurement Plan and sub-contractor’s activities.
- Document work undertaken activities and provide regular activity report.
- Recognized issues and assess risks and review any findings with management.
- Inspect work for satisfactory performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policy and communicate effectively to project teams.
- Recommend improvements and modifications.
- Investigate complaints and recommend corrective action as necessary to resolve complaints.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders including the public.
- Identify and meet personal job-related training and development as required.
- Liaise with contractors and client.
- Manage the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor.
What You Bring
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
- Relevant experience of project management, electrical engineering, automatization or instrumentation.
- Advantage of experience in areas as oil and gas, refinery, electrical stations of medium and high voltage.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Primavera.
- Educational background in electrical engineering and instrumentation.
- Strong budgeting and risk management skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Previous project management experience.
