How You’ll Make an Impact
- Troubleshoot and carries out repairs to all plant equipment as well as building related items
- Perform and maintain preventative maintenance on equipment as the schedule dictates
- Work on special projects from design phase to final installation and start up
- Liaison with outside contractors concerning plant maintenance issues as required
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to commute to each of the sites when required by the business
- Other duties as assigned
What You Bring
- Looking for a licensed electrician (309A or 442A), preferably with PLC experience and in the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment
- Must also be familiar with preventative maintenance program.
- Demonstrated electrical abilities, i.e., Conduit bending, lockout/tagout.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork skills, leadership, and strong priority management capacity.
Must be able to perform the following:
- Demonstrate good problem-solving techniques for troubleshooting related to machinery and manufacturing systems
- plans installations from blueprints, sketches and specifications and installs all electrical and electronic devices.
- systematically diagnoses faults in electrical and electronic systems and equipment and repairs or replaces electrical and electronic components as required.
- measures, cuts, threads, bends, assembles and installs conduits and other electrical conductor raceways.
- splices and terminates electrical conductors.
- tests electrical and electronic equipment for proper function
- maintains and improves the plant's preventive/predictive maintenance system.
- maintains an organized, clean and safe production environment based on local regulations and codes including all tools and equipment related with the maintenance department.
- demonstrates communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, having the ability to relay ideas to peers and supervisors.
- demonstrates a safety and quality conscious approach while performing work duties and able to work in a team environment.
- has good verbal communication skills and be able to read and write.
