The SAP S/4 Consultant – Foreign Trade / Customs will participate in the Siemens Energy S/4 implementation project, interacting with internal and external providers. As part of this role, you will be working in a dynamic, project-driven working environment, ensuring that you collaborate closely with experts to design, develop and implement new business requirements in the Logistics, Sales and MM areas in S/4 and the surrounding IT applications for Foreign Trade/Customs

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Collaborate closely with experts to design, develop and implement new business requirements for Foreign Trade / Customs in SAP S/4
• Lead all aspects of maintenance and development backlog, prioritize based on business criticality
• Transform requirements into IT system requirements / User Stories
• Plan and execute deployments of functional or technical change. Assume responsibility for the Implementation of User Stories within larger IT implementation projects or Change Requests
• Provide oversight and validation of all system configurations and changes
• Support Service Manager by supervising IT operations and maintenance activities according to approved procedures & standards
• Implement, design and document new and existing IT operational processes as well as perform individual coaching and trainings for business users
• Ensure the performance and delivery of IT services to the users, irrespective of the number and nature of suppliers by coordinating delivery, integration, and interoperability across multiple IT services and suppliers.

What you bring:

• University degree in (Business) Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administration (with focus / interest in IT (Information Technology) processes or management).
• Strong past performance in academics (IT, business administration, engineering, legal, mathematics, or others).
• Professional experience within multinational enterprise.
• Knowledge in IT infrastructure (interfaces, services, servers, best practices) as well as advanced knowledge in cloud (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service)), container technologies, delivery management and ITIL processes.
• Commitment to continuous learning and to global travel up to 30%.
• Knowledge in the area of SAP S/4 Logistics.
• Organizational talent, like teamworking, and use clear communication style plus structured way of working.
• Attitude to work shows a high degree of independence as well as good customer orientation.
• English is fluent, and you are confident in business communication in English (German is an asset but not a must-have).
