A Snapshot of Your Day

In this role, you will report to the Head of Finance for Digital Grid, leading the FIN team in the region & be responsible for smooth commercial operations. You ensure accurate financials and provide transparency for the key drivers of the business. As a trusted partner for the Head of the region, you support to implement the DG growth strategy. You continuously try to find synergies & use your network for best practice sharing beyond the regional responsibility.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Assist in developing and implementing the go-to-market strategy for DG in the region, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Design a lean & efficient financial operational setup in the region, ensuring optimized business model & value streams.
  • Closely cooperate with the global DG team for defining a must win strategy for customer projects and consequently facilitate their decision making and drive execution.
  • Lead Budget, Forecast, Reporting and controlling requirements in the region.
  • You are responsible for the integrity of books and records, and for an effective risk management and internal control system.
  • Ensure cross-segment and cross-country collaboration to achieve the overall business targets within DG in the respective region.

What You Bring

  • Long term proven operational experience in a finance function for an international organization, ideally with experience in financial controlling, Siemens Energy FRG’s and reporting systems, and/or project management.
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in working in an intercultural environment with globally present teams and have demonstrated ability to lead a team.
  • Serve as a role model for SE Leadership Essentials, promoting collaboration, prioritizing people development, and fostering an inclusive and diverse environment.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
