As a Backend Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining our applications. You will collaborate with teams with varied strengths to deliver scalable and efficient software solutions

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Design and implement server-side logic, APIs, and services using Python. Ensure robust performance, security, and scalability of the application.
• Develop and maintain the user interface using React / React native. Implement adaptable designs and ensure a detailed user experience.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases. Design schemas, write queries, and optimize performance.
• Connect front-end and back-end components and ensure data flows smoothly between them.
• Write unit and integration tests, perform code reviews, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high-quality code.
• Work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Create and sustain user documentation for both front-end and back-end components.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in React, React Native, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Expertise in Python, experience with frameworks such as Django or Flask, and a solid understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB or equivalent experience).
• Proficient in using Git and GitHub/GitLab for version control and collaboration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain sophisticated technical concepts to non-technical customers.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
