A Snapshot of Your Day
In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with our innovative development teams to ensure that our solutions not only meet but exceed the latest Cyber Security standards. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding and coaching these teams on best practices aligned with innovative standards like IEC 62443, helping them understand how to effectively use systems to meet operational excellence.
You will take the lead in coordinating and driving essential cybersecurity activities and documentation, including Threat Risk Assessments (TRA) and Penetration Tests, ensuring our projects are secure from the ground up.
As a vital link to our global cybersecurity function, you will work alongside cybersecurity experts to navigate governance and compliance topics, fostering a culture of security awareness and best practices.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Monitor vulnerabilities and manage patches for our advanced Edge Computing solutions.
- Provide expert support and guidance to the development team on secure software development and system design.
- Evaluate and enhance the technical solutions and system architecture of our Connectivity and Edge solutions.
- Implement system hardening measures to bolster security.
- Conduct Threat and Risk Analysis and organize Penetration Tests to ensure robust security measures are in place.
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Specialist or in a similar software development role.
- Deep understanding of Operating Systems (Windows 10, Windows Server 2019/2022/2025, Linux) and system hardening techniques.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards such as IEC62443, ISO27001, and NERC CIP.
- Expertise in secure development standards, Secure Coding practices, and secure system architecture.
- Proficiency in vulnerability monitoring, patch management, and security testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Join our Software Engineering and Product Development (SPD) teams, where we are dedicated to creating innovative software solutions for both internal and external customers. Our IBS team develops applications and platforms that acquire, store, and process data to enhance the operation and maintenance of power production and distribution facilities, as well as industrial sites of all sizes. This includes ground breaking data acquisition systems, digital twins, analytic platforms, and AI-driven applications.
As part of the Connectivity and Edge team, you will contribute to pioneering solutions for data acquisition, connectivity, and monitoring technologies.
