As a Project Manager (f/m/d) Carve-out you will be part of a dynamic and interdisciplinary team, which actively contributes to the conversion of the global Siemens Energy portfolio. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and take over the responsibility for the separation of businesses to be divested in connection with M&A transactions
- Be in charge of the operative execution of Carve-out and standalone projects globally, incl. ensuring operational day-1-readiness and take lead in Carve-out related negotiations and establish inter alia Transitional Service Agreements
- Lead baselining and ringfencing of business activities, decision on separation/transfer concept, legal setup and execution of function separation/transfer of related assets, in coordination with the M&A project manager and the department head
- Structure and understand complex situations in depth, while gaining a comprehensive overview at the same time to prepare well-designed decision-making documents
- Coordinate within the projects/project modules internal specialist teams, the divesting business and the target business independently throughout the Carve-out lifecycle, as well as drive the communication with external parties, e.g. potential buyers, as a Carve-out expert
- Responsibility for the overall conception and execution of the Carve-out, whilst evaluating internal and external expert opinions to assess the impact on the decision-making parameters in a structured and transparent manner to ensure day-1-readiness
What You Bring
- Strong academic track record, ideally with relevant academic degree (e.g. business administration, industrial engineering, IT), certification in Project Management is a plus)
- Several years of experience and sound knowledge about Carve-outs and M&A, or closely related fields within business operations
- Experience in international project management, working abroad, leading interdisciplinary teams as well as long-term experience in various job families (corporate/business) across the organization, ability to assess and evaluate complex business operations and interdependencies rapidly
- Strong analytical skills and ability to independently prepare and visualize complex facts for the Senior Management by using Microsoft Office tools, e.g. Excel and Powerpoint
- High degree of assertiveness, initiative and you work result oriented
- Fluent Business English language skills, German is a plus
