As a field troubleshooter in Siemens Gamesa, you will diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site, ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and systems. You will collaborate with site managers and technicians to implement effective solutions, maintain project timelines, and improve overall efficiency, all while encouraging a team-oriented environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Provide guide support to commissioning field and service teams by diagnosing and resolving sophisticated failures across all wind turbine systems, including power converters, generators, control systems, transformers, and HV switchgear.
• Conduct on-site solving of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) turbine systems, focusing on electrical systems such as transformers, power converters, and generators.
• Address issues related to control systems, PLCs, and sensors to ensure efficient performance and reliability of turbine operations.
• Fix mechanical systems, including actuators and hydraulics, to maintain the integrity and efficiency of turbine functionality.
• Participate in the development and improvement of commissioning procedures for new platforms, ensuring detailed testing and optimization.
• Provide training to other commission team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve team capabilities and performance.
