A Snapshot of Your Day 

In this role, you will lead the Gas Services Central Service Procurement (SO2) Service Operations 2 Team, overseeing sourcing and operational activities for parts and tools across four Regional Service Units and inventory.

Your primary focus will be on driving cost-out initiatives, achieving >95% on-time delivery, and building a resilient, high-performing supply chain. You will work closely with Global Service Operations (GSO), Project Management, Commodity Management, Supplier Quality, and Regional Service Procurement teams to align business needs with sourcing strategies and order fulfillment processes.

Beyond meeting key procurement metrics, you will foster a customer-centric approach in all activities. A critical aspect of your role is to navigate diverse interests in a matrixed, multicultural environment, while building and maintaining a highly engaged, motivated team—positioning Procurement as an aspirational workplace: “Procurement is a place to be.”

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Lead the Gas Services Central Service Procurement (SO2) Service Operations 2 Team, overseeing sourcing and operational activities for parts and tools.
  • Drive cost-out initiatives and achieve over 95% on-time delivery while building a resilient supply chain.
  • Collaborate with Global Service Operations (GSO), Project Management, Commodity Management, Supplier Quality, and Regional Service Procurement teams to align business needs with sourcing strategies.
  • Foster a customer-centric approach in all activities, ensuring procurement metrics are met.
  • Build and maintain a highly engaged, motivated team in a matrixed, multicultural environment.
What You Bring
  • A university degree in a technical or business-related field.
  • Extensive experience in both operational and strategic procurement roles.
  • A focused, driven, and empathetic leadership style.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Proven track record in developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
  • Fluency in English and German, along with outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, 
modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
