A Snapshot of Your Day
For out test laboratory in Nuremberg, we need support on guided installation of Hardware devices and execution of predefined test cases. For that purpose, we are looking for a Hardware affine working student with good understanding of IoT related topics such as Gateways, embedded systems, sensors, communication protocols, etc.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Preparation of test setup for Hardware
- Execute defined test cases
- Writing technical documents
What You Bring
- Typical fieldbus protocols, especially Modbus, DNP3, IEC61850
- Linux-based embedded OS, such as RTOS, Raspberry Pi OS, Apache NuttX, etc.
- Single-board computers (e.g. Raspberry Pi, Arduino UNO R3, etc.)
- Ability to connect multiple devices with each other (RJ-45, RS-485, RS-232, etc.) and test the connection
- Programming languages: C, Python, Bash
- PLC commissioning, configuration, and testing
- Knowledge of simple sensors (e.g. Pt100)
- English fluent, German is a plus
