About the Team:

Accounting Services (AS) is an integral part of the global accounting ecosystem and a CFO function within Siemens Energy (SE). Out of Accounting Service Centers in Americas, Europe, and Asia, AS provides accounting solutions contributing towards SE’s vision to energize society.
AS is built on (1) people, (2) processes, and (3) technology which all are constantly challenged and developed. Global and diverse networks, domains, and responsibilities offer continuous opportunities to grow personally and professionally.

You will be reporting to the Head of Accounting Services, and as such are being part of both the local finance community as well as an international network of accounting experts.

About the role:

In your role as Program Manager - Service Execution within Accounting Services, you need to have a background in project/program management, are familiar with software/tool selection, implementation and (continous) process improvements techniques, an affinity for accounting/finance operations, speaks process (re-)design, as well as having a technical and commercial mindset.

Process Ownership & Leadership
• You will work on high-profile projects directly for the Head of Accounting Services (AS) globally.
• You take ownership of projects, you will be responsible for initiating, managing, and completing complex projects to ensure that the AS organisation can consistently operate at the highest possible level. It is within your responsibility to identify, enable, operate and maintain tools and processes to allow the ASCs to do so.

Collaboration & Teamwork
• You build strong partnerships to win the trust of our stakeholders through respectful, agile, accountable behavior when interacting with colleagues, customers, partners and Siemens Energy local and global communities.
• You listen actively and are continuously focused on the stakeholder requests, managing complex and uncertain operational issues, while decisively moving forward in taking ownership of decisions.

Escalations & Proactive Process Improvement
• With your relevant experience, you actively support the Head of Accounting Services in continously improve the organisations efficiency and effectivness.
• You understand project dynamics, know how to manage stakeholers and are aware that time sensitivity matters.
• Proactive process contributions and exercise curiosity and creativity in promoting and facilitating improvement ideas or other value-added solutions.
• You will work closely together with the Function Leads globally to develop operational skills and ensure AS' tools and processes are optimized for day-to-day
operational accounting.
• You will be actively contributing to our strategy, using innovation as a personal growth driver.

Process improvement
• You are actively involved in proposing, coordinating, and leading continuous improvement initiatives as well as finance transformation projects.
• Contributing and engaging in standardizing and automating our workflows, accounting processes and our cross-functional processes throughout Accounting and related teams.
• You support the implementation and continuous update of documentation for existing and new processes.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
• Track record of successfully implemented process improvement projects
• Extensive process and project management tool and technique knowledge
• Very good understanding of (operational) accounting processes
• Project management qualification is a plus
• Very good MS-Office skills
• You are open and communicative in nature as well as fluent English skills complete your profile
