A munkakörről
A Snapshot of your Day
As a Senior Machine Learning (ML) Engineer in our Grid Technologies AI Lab, you’ll support cutting edge research that makes our vision of an autonomous power grid possible. In this role, you’ll combine your experience in building ML and AI solutions with our next generation hardware and global power system expertise and data to push the envelope of what is possible in the power system of the future. In the morning, you’ll meet with the AI research team for a standup, and help some of the researchers optimize their model training code to run more efficiently on GPUs. In the afternoon, you’ll do pair programming with researchers to implement a research idea they have and start to run experiments. Then, you’ll write documentation for the code you’ve developed, making it easier for future researchers to dive in and understand the work that’s been done.
Passionate about the environment and climate change? Ready to be part of the future of the energy transition? The Siemens Energy Grid Technologies AI Lab is pioneering next generation AI tools for driving the energy transition.
Our team is looking for innovative, enthusiastic, and versatile data, digital, and AI professionals that will drive us forward on this exciting venture.
