LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU

Your Profile:

•Bachelor or Master degree major in I&C, turbomachinery, thermal & power related preferred

•At least 3 years of experience of developing detailed SCADA/I&C design drawings including control panel layout, I/O termination, control panel power distribution, instrumentation installation, motor control schematics, hardwired backup control circuits, single line diagrams and process and instrumentation diagrams.

•Experience with creation of Control-narratives / Control descriptions.

•Designing control systems utilizing Allen Bradley and Siemens automation control-platforms is preferred.

•Motivation in teamwork.

•Experience with Teamcenter & SAP welcomed.

•Good communication skills (intercultural experience welcomed).

•Fluent English in writing & speaking (German welcomed).

•Good in MS office tools.MS Office, AutoCAD, COMOS.

Your Responsibilities: 

•Comply with the guidance given by the applicable Engineering Process in place in SE O division. 

•Use global collaborative tools as available and recommended by COE management (Sharepoint, Jira, Globus, DRIM...) in order to ensure overall efficiency of the scattered CSY team and action traceability throughout the project life.

•Compile and submit to the REPE scenarios or alternatives that compare as required: technical risk assessment, execution risk for Company, Client benefit, possible impact on project spend & critical path.

•Rely on our Modularization & Standardization principles along Product Lines called “One Control”.

•Contributing to continuous improvement for Controls related tool landscape and database, e.g. COMOS, Cost Calculation, Documentation list.

•Pro-actively seek others’ lessons learned within and outside the project team, share his own accumulated along other projects.

•Support NCC prevention initiatives by using 8D / 5W metothics

•Assist the REPE during the hand-over phase capture and clarification of controls scope. 

•Review specifications and C&E’s elaboration of Client Document List for controls scope.

•Fill out KAM data base (Scope list) regarding controls scope.

•Develop overall controls concept based on “one control” modules.

•Support Project Team to define interfaces for SE controls scope, e.g. interface to SIS, DCS, VSD.

•Review COMOS Database setup given by SML/ECI in order to ensure consistent data management, e.g. I/O list. 

•Review and approve of detail design Documents e.g. circuit/loop Diagrams, connection Diagrams. 

•Leading design reviews for CONTROL SYSTEM.

•Designs process diagrams, including the required measurement and actuators. Specifies and prepares lists of sensors, actuators. Designs the mechanic and electric connection of sensors.

•Prepares block diagrams of control, design of protections, algorithms for control of actuators. Specifies compressor and turbine control valve, control system, reviews vendor technical proposals.

•Addresses non-standard and typical requirements of projects from the instrumentation point of view.

•Monitor documents regarding OTD, expedite and facilitate the achievement of documentation related milestones. 

•Analyze with the document owner GCC CSY DTD the comments received from Customer (or from suppliers, which happens less frequently) about the submitted documentation. Manage and resolve upon consulting with the REPE any problematic mark-up’s (e.g. unclear or late comments, implicit or explicit requests of non-contractual services), with the aim of minimizing any negative impact for the Company and finding a win-win compromise whenever possible. However, the main objective here should be the client approval in order to have as early as possible a frozen design.

•Provide monthly Budget forecast for control area.

•Issue Risk notification to REPE/PM regarding project cost or schedule risk, including proposing of risk mitigation plans.

•Leading factory acceptance testing and string tests.
