- Leading, managing and supervision of all tactical & operational procurement activities for EAD’s Global Manufacturing Network
- Developing and implementing procurement, sourcing & Siemens Energy-internal / 3rd party value-chain concepts in alignment with business goals that supports supply chain resilience
- Ensure transparent & accurate reporting and controlling of all relevant procurement/supply chain KPI’s
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality management, to ensure alignment of procurement activities with project requirements
- Act as a role model and proactively leads transformation of organization and workforce, towards optimal support of EAD’s manufacturing locations
- Responsible to lead and manage an international team, developing employees and required skills, ensuring knowledge transfer and fostering a high-performance culture
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors to establish cost-effective, innovative and globalized supply base
- 10+ years of experience in procurement-/supply chain environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership roles, preferrable within Industrial- / engineer-to-order /defence business-environment
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement/sourcing projects and leading cross-functional teams
- Advanced competences for SAP, Data management, process automation, procurement methods, tools & contract-/design & -negotiation in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration or related fields
- Fluent in German and English, additional language skills considered a plus
- Due to sensitive nature of defence business being part of this Business, EU citizenship required
- Regular national / International travel required (20-40%)
