A Snapshot of Your Day
Shipping and Receiving coordinates the movement of materials and products in and out of the facility. The department works closely with shop floor personnel and management to maintain continuous material flow throughout the shop.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Controls receipt documentation. Processes the documentation flow of paperwork for stores/receiving via the data entry process in compliance with stores procedures and policies.
- Coordinates and assists in the accurate and timely processing of all stores/receiving transactions to the manufacturing system. Accountable for all transactions, maintenance of records and data retrieval of information.
- Processes shipments and works with clients on transporting goods.
- Provides export documentation when required.
- Assists stores/receiving supervision in the development and formation of day to day policy for data entry functions. Ensures data entry disciplines, follow-up and corrective action on problems. Assists in improving and maintaining integrity of stores/receiving operation as it relates to data entry and material on hand.
- Collaborates with other department personnel in solving stores/receiving problems in a timely manner. Serves as a primary contact with manufacturing and service area on data entry and other systems or stores related to problems affecting stores integrity and material flow.
What You Bring
- Minimum A.A.S (associate degree), Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with SAP/Oracle or similar program a PLUS but not required.
- Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills; flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, with strong computer skills.
- Displays an attitude conducive to progress through positive change, continuous improvement and active contributor to the teamwork concept.

This job is based in Painted Post, New York. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
