A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Performance Controller Professional for the STG (Steam Turbine and Generators) business, you will play a crucial role in business controlling and collaborating with cross-functional and cross-organizational teams. Your responsibilities include providing essential data and analysis to inform financial decisions and strategies, overseeing accurate and timely financial reporting, and leading effective tracking, controlling, and forecasting. You will support financial planning and analysis, including budget preparation, forecast planning, month-end and year-end closing tasks, and deviation analysis. Additionally, you will drive projects aimed at process optimization, simplification, and enhancing project financial performance.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Act as a trusted partner to STG on business controlling and reporting matters
  • Coordinate financial topics, analyze data, and perform deviation analysis
  • Participate in monthly closing and cost structure evaluation
  • Assist in yearly budget planning
  • Create transparency and support operations with accurate forecasts
  • Monitor cost centers and ensure planning accuracy
  • Manage currency risks
  • Provide performance reports and recommend management actions
  • Support FIN TI STG management in various reporting, forecasting, and cost-controlling tasks
  • Promote automation, optimize reporting tools, and support digitalization efforts
  • Handle ad hoc requests, special projects, and scheduled reporting

What You Bring

  • Bachelor‘s degree or above in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in reporting and controlling roles
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems like SAP
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Highly developed analytical skills
  • Strong commercial competence and critical thinking.
  • Motivated in complex and changing environments, skills in conceptual work and self-management
  • Ability to communicate effectively in interdisciplinary and international teams, with strong interpersonal skills and presentation ability to management
  • Team player, initiative and proactivity
