How You’ll Make an Impact

• Managing, leading and coaching employees to carry out production activities associated with the Assembly, Packaging & Testing of Gas Turbines and Compressor for Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and associated industries.
• Collaborate within a cross-border & cross-functional matrix organization to achieve clear understanding, implementation and execution of production objectives – achieving required highest Quality standards - on time, on budget, every time.
• • Training, development, evaluation and succession planning.
  • Cultivate and promote a culture of teamwork, excellence and inclusiveness.
•  Applying the following:
  • Defining operational models and optimized Manpower planning.
  • Defining and controlling production hours – for employees and contractors.
  • Developing Plant & Equipment investment and maintenance programs.
  • Developing appropriate tools and fixtures for routine and innovative production activities
  • Establishing working practices for the execution of assembly & packaging operations, leveraging industry best practice, including data driven Continuous Improvement, Lean & Agile theory.
• • Defining, measuring and improving Production KPIs to ensure transparent understanding of all activities whilst achieving measurable continuous innovation and improvement.

What you Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable engineering field (mechanical, electrical or related) from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Production or Manufacturing management role in a rotating equipment manufacturing or assembly plant.
• Minimum 10 years demonstrable and deep knowledge of Assembly & Packaging activities for Rotating Equipment
  • Pipework and structural welding & manufacture.
  • Electrical cable, tray and conduit system assembly
  • Tubing and Instrument systems assembly
  • Assembly, alignment and cleanliness of critical components.
  • Painting systems
• Knowledge and comprehension of applicable international standards & industry standards.
• Proficiency in MS office, ERP system, CAD software
• Fluency in English, with Arabic strongly favored.
• Strong people leader
• Excellent communicator – verbal and written using multiple media / tools
• Clear and systematic managerial and organizational mind
• Understanding, interpreting and solving problems in complex technical, contractual and organizational situations
• Ability to influence and balance needs of multiple stakeholders
• Calm under pressure
• Quality focused
