A Snapshot of Your Day

We are currently seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team. The EHS Manager will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and leading our factory's EHS programs and strategies to ensure a safe and environmentally compliant work environment. This role involves a blend of strategic planning, operational execution, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at minimizing risks and promoting sustainability across all operations.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and implement comprehensive EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Coordinate and deliver EHS training programs for employees to ensure understanding and compliance with EHS standards and practices.
  • Manage and maintain EHS documentation, including permits, safety data sheets (SDS), and records of incidents and corrective actions.
  • Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies for all EHS matters, including inspections, permits, and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in EHS practices, aiming for best-in-class standards.
  • Monitor emerging EHS legislation and ensure the company's ongoing compliance.
  • Manage and oversee the company's waste management and recycling programs, ensuring environmental compliance and sustainability.
 

What You Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in an EHS role, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of EHS regulations and standards;
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective EHS programs and initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • English/Spanish, at professional working profiency level.
  • Soft Skills results focused, Customer satisfaction oriented, multicultural approach.
